More than twenty years ago I attended an engaging professional development session that shifted my teaching and provided me the impetus and inspiration to begin to create a STEM-oriented classroom. I began to design energetic lessons that inspired my students and enhanced their learning. This transformation led to the integration of science, math, reading, the arts, and lots of excitement.

My goal in this seminar is to share with you the very best ideas from my own classroom and from the thousands of teachers I have trained in STEM instructional activities. I will provide you with educationally sound and researched-based best practices that will allow you to elevate the academic levels of your students. I will share exemplary STEM lesson examples, project-based learning ideas, literary connections, and teacher testimonials. I am confident that you will find the resources to be teacher friendly and readily available for implementation in your classroom.
