Cynthia Cardenas-Kolak is an internationally recognized ELL teacher, author and trainer of trainers. She has worked collaboratively with district, state, and national educational entities to enrich programs and instruction for English language learners. An exceptional presenter, she is best known for her engaging approach to sharing research-based, practical and classroom-proven methods and strategies.

Cynthia is the author of The VESTED Instructional Approach: Balanced Instruction for Diverse Learners, (2nd Edition) and Vocabulary in 3-D: A Practical Guide to Help Kids Use Academic Language in Everyday Conversation. She is also the author of Strengthening English Language Learners’ Engagement and Academic Achievement: Strategies that Work!, the extensive resource handbook each participant will receive at the seminar.
