Dr. Sharon Faber is an internationally recognized presenter and consultant with more than 40 years of experience as a teacher, university professor and staff development trainer. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with effective reading strategies teachers can use to support and increase the reading skills of their students. She is the author of Accelerate the READING Skills of Your Students Who Struggle the Most (Grades 6-12), the resource handbook each participant will receive at this seminar.

Sharon has also authored How to Teach Reading When You Are Not a Reading Teacher (World Book Incentive Publications, revised 2015)and How to Teach Academic Vocabulary so Kids Can Remember (World Book Incentive Publications, 2010). She has keynoted at district, state, national, and international conferences and is noted for her high energy level, the practicality of her content and her humorous delivery.
