Uniquely Qualified Instructor

Juliana Bowman is a highly experienced secondary mathematics teacher who has taught everything from Algebra 1 to AP Statistics in her 27 years as an educator. Juliana discovered a passion for teaching math when her friends approached her for help with their math classes as a finance student at Baylor University. It was such a rewarding and jubilant feeling when that "light" would go on in the friend's eyes and they would understand a concept, that Juliana went back to school to get her teaching certificate in secondary mathematics and took her passion for mathematics and teaching to secondary math classrooms.

Juliana's love of mathematics has continued as she taught math at the secondary level for more than two decades. She is also the author of Increasing Student Learning in MATH: Help Your Students Move from Memorization to Mathematical Thinking (Grades 6-12), the extensive resource handbook each participant will receive at the seminar.

A lifelong learner, she is always looking for new and exciting ways to better teach mathematics to the ever-changing learner in today's secondary schools.
