Tracy Lemkie brings her experiences as an elementary classroom teacher who pioneered makerspaces in her own classroom and currently serves as a Tech Coach helping other schools and teachers initiate or enhance existing makerspace programs. Experienced presenting at many state and local conferences, the maker movement has inspired Tracy and given her the drive to find the best and most cost-effective ways to get makerspaces into schools and classrooms. Participants leave Tracy’s presentations with a wealth of practical ideas and proven models for maximizing the power of makerspaces with a focus on enhancing students’ creativity, academic, and engineering skills.
