JULIANA TAPPER is a highly experienced secondary math educator and a frequent presenter at local, state and national conferences, often speaking on best ways to increase engagement, motivation, and achievement of students who are grade levels behind in mathematics. Her work has been published in NCTM’s journal, Mathematics Learning & Teaching, and she is passionate about equipping fellow secondary math teachers with innovative, practical tools and ideas they can immediately use in their math classrooms to reach the most challenging students. Having taught high school math for many years, she knows what it takes to see all students succeed in mathematics and prides herself in showcasing easyto-implement strategies for teachers that achieve maximum results. She is also the author of Using DESMOS to Increase Learning for Your Struggling Math Students (Grades 6-12), the extensive digital resource handbook each participant will receive at the seminar.
