KAREN SCOTT is an award-winning school librarian and is a frequent presenter at local, state, and national conferences. She is currently a member of the Amelia Walden Committee for ALAN (NCTE), a co-chair for the national AASL National Library Conference, and a past member of the 2020 Newbery Committee. She is an active member of the American Association of School Librarians and currently serves on AASL’s Best Digital Tools committee. She also has previously served on YALSA’s ALEX committee.
