Dear Colleague:

As a current French language teacher, it is my honor and privilege to collaborate with you! Each of us comes from varied pedagogical and philosophic language acquisition practices and theories, but we all want to help our students strengthen their French language proficiency.

My goal is to maximize your learning based on your interests and needs. In our day together we’ll explore a wealth of practical and engaging French units and activities that utilize authentic resources and tasks. All of these are blended with comprehensible language supports designed to strengthen proficiency-based French language acquisition.

In addition, you will receive the comprehensive digital resource handbook I designed specifically for this seminar. It provides explanations and resources that you can review when you return to your classroom and begin implementing all that we’ll learn. I invite you to print it, to take notes, bookmark pages we refer to, and continue coming back to it in the future.
