Dear Colleague:

How can we provide the best learning environment and experiences for our secondary Science students? How can we promote and develop lifelong learners with strong critical thinking, collaboration and communication skills? And how can we do all this given the many challenges and time constraints we face as Science educators? What I find so exciting about Google Classroom is that it has the power to greatly assist us in achieving all these aims and more with our grades 6-12 Science students!

I have specifically designed this seminar based on my years as a secondary Science teacher, an Instructional Technology Coach and Google for Education Certified Trainer to give you the strategies and confidence to immediately strengthen your Science instruction. I’ve worked with countless Science teachers of all skill levels on making the best use of Google Classroom and other technology tools and I am confident that you will leave with a wealth of strategies you will be excited to implement right away.

Throughout our day together, we will explore best practices for using Google Classroom, extensions, and tools to greatly enhance your Science instruction. We’ll look at ways to actively engage your studens and build their confidence within and beyond the bounds of your classroom.
