A Message from Your Seminar Leader

Dear Colleague:

As speech-language pathologists we make multiple decisions every day involving assessment and the content of our therapy goals and activities. As a school-based SLP, I often found that I was constantly striving to meet the demands of serving my caseload while also ensuring my students’ success within the school’s academic environment. My goal was to accomplish this in the most effective and time-efficient ways that accelerated the therapy progress for every student.

I have created this unique new seminar to share the very best ways I have found in my 34 years of experience as a school-based SLP that our therapy can make the most effective impact in all settings. I will share with you what I have found to be the most motivating and appropriate strategies and materials that significantly enhance opportunities for speech-language development in and out of the therapy setting. I will also share with you an innovative evidence-based practice model I developed that will provide you with a highly efficient method to reduce potential barriers and plan for more effective therapy. Throughout our day together, I will share with you numerous insights and observations that will assist you in accelerating therapy progress for your students every day.
