What time do your programs begin and end?

Our Live Online Programs start at 9:00 AM and conclude at 3:30 PM in the time zone indicated. Check in 15 minutes prior. Access information will be sent by email four days before the seminar.

Can I earn credit for attending IED Live Online Programs?

Is there a deadline to enroll for one of your seminars?

IED accepts seminar registrations until our classes fill to capacity. To ensure your registration for one of our seminars, we encourage you to enroll as soon as possible. Payment or a purchase order is required by the seminar date.

What if I need to cancel my registration?

100% of your paid registration fee will be refunded if you can't attend and notify us at least 10 days before the seminar. Late cancellations made prior to the seminar date will be refunded less a $15 service fee. Substitutions may be made at any time without charge.

What is a Live Online Seminar or Institute?

IED Live Online Seminars and Institutes are high-quality PD programs presented online. You'll join our outstanding instructors LIVE on Zoom for a highly interactive professional development where you can ask questions in real time and collaborate with other educators from around the country. You will also receive an extensive digital resource handbook specifically designed for the program and filled with helpful resources. By participating in a Live Online PD event and completing the required evaluation at the end of the program, you will receive a personalized Certificate of Participation and be eligible for State CEUs or University Credit.

How do I access my IED Live Online Seminar or Institute?

Registrants will receive an email with access instructions four days prior to the event. This will be sent to the email address you used for registration. If your PD event is scheduled to start this morning, please call us after 5:30 AM Pacific at 800-260-8180.
Otherwise, you can request access to your event by submitting a request.

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept payments via check, credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover). Purchase orders are accepted as a promise of payment and invoices will be sent to the proper billing authority listed on valid purchase orders received. We are unable to accept cash payments.

Do you sell your resource handbook?

Our digital resource handbooks are not available for retail sale and are limited to seminar and institute attendees only.

When will I receive my Certificate of Participation?

Certificates of Participation are emailed to attendees who have completed the required evaluation at the end of the program. Please allow 10 business days after the program date for attendance verification before we issue your certificate. Be sure to check your spam or junk folders if you do not see your certificate in your inbox. This will be sent to the email address used for your registration.

If you are missing your certificate of participation after 10 business days, please send a certificate replacement request to or call us at 800-260-8180. Be sure to include your full name, school information and contact information. Certificate requests are processed weekly and please allow 2-3 weeks after the seminar date for attendance to be verified before any certificate can be re-issued.

Do you ever offer your seminars at specific schools or districts?

The Institute for Educational Development does not sponsor professional development events at specific schools or districts.
